AN ISLAND BEARING FRUIT

Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault has a rich family tradition. As incredible as it may seem, apple trees, cherry trees, pear trees and plum trees grow on Isle-aux-Coudres thanks to the first 300 apple trees planted in 1918. A family with a visionary plan has created several unique products for the pleasure of your taste buds, including apple butter, cherry jam, strong cider, ice mistelle and many more treats. Learn everything you need to know, from the orchards to the cellar. Follow the story of the apple: how the fruit crossed the ocean and weathered the test of time to reach the shores of the St. Lawrence. Discover daring recipes where small fruit are the main ingredients. Don’t leave the premises without having sampled at least one or more of the 25 alcoholic beverages, and take home some fruit goodies. Apples at their best!
